Alfred Schleicher (1920-2010) and Hildegunde Langendoerfer (1924-2010) were married in Gersfeld, Germany, on 26 July 1947. They - and Oma - arrived in Canada in 1952 and settled in Pitt Meadows, BC, in 1956. Their children (Margaret, b.1948; Steven, b.1952; and Susan, b.1958) are compiling photos from the family history; we welcome contributions of photos and stories about Alfred and Gundel, and about their forebears, relatives, descendants, and friends.
